Introduction: Advanced logging is essential for monitoring and troubleshooting data flows between on-premises SAP systems and Azure Logic Apps. Enabling detailed logs helps you gain insights into operations and quickly identify any issues.

  1. Locate the Microsoft.PowerBI.EnterpriseGateway.exe.config file under C:\Program Files\On-premises data gateway\
  2. Backup the original file (file Microsoft.PowerBI.EnterpriseGateway.exe.config)
  3. Add or verify the following elements (yellow highlighted) exist in the file.
  1. Go into the OPDG GUI and make sure the user is logged in.
  2. Navigate to the  Service Settings tab and select Restart now button.
  3. New logs should show up under C:\sap\nco_trace_logs with any new RFC call.

Once you apply the above, and you still see the RFC_NO_AUTHORITY in SAP server, please share with us the logs created under C:\sap\nco_trace_logs

Once done with trace and logs, make sure to roll back to original trace file and restart service again to stop logging.
